Botox® Revive Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Magic to erase wrinkles

Why do I develop wrinkles?

Wrinkles are a result of muscle movement over a period of time. Facial expressions such
as being happy, surprised, angry or annoyed, cause pleating or creasing of the overlying skin over various regions of our face.

After years of crinkling and wrinkling, these creases or lines start to linger longer and can become more pronounced. Like the folding of a piece of smooth paper, permanent lines will form over time. As women tend to be more expressive than men's, and whose skin is typically more delicate, these lines may appear exaggerated and more permanent.

No more wrinkles!

Dynamic wrinkles are caused by contraction of muscles that are attached to the overlying skin. Each muscle contraction causes the skin to bunch together, forming lines between the bulks of the muscle.

Botox, a purified protein, can visibly smoothen and soften facial wrinkle lines. It works by reducing the activity of the facial muscles and improvement can be seen within days. The most common locations for dynamic wrinkles are between the eyebrows i.e. frown lines, forehead lines, and lines on the cheeks near the outer corners of the eyes, referred to as "crow's feet". Administering of Botox into these specific muscles reduces their muscle action, thereby abolishing dynamic wrinkles. These obvious results are seen in just days!

See BOTOX not just as treatment but more for prevention

As we age and our skin loses precious collagen, muscle activity eventually produces "cracks" in the ski, also known as static wrinkles. Static lines are notoriously more difficult to treat than dynamic lines! Botox helps to prevent further wrinkle formation by reducing these muscle activities.

A common question that we are often asked in our clinic is "how long does BOTOX last"? Just one session of botox will last 6-9 months. However if you have a series of sessions of botox, the effect will last beyond 9 months to a year plus! So the effects of botox can be accumulative.

Botox also produces dramatic results on "sad lines", "bunny lines" on the nose, the chin, and the neck. Click Here
