Fillers Anti-Aging | Fillers Lips and Nose

Static wrinkles are due to lack of elasticity of the skin caused from sun damage, smoking, genetics, poor nutrition, or from prolonged dynamic wrinkling. Static facial wrinkles are visible regardless of muscle contraction; they stay (hence the name "static") even when the muscles are not contracting. This leads to the classic "crepiness" and multiple cross-hatching as is often seen in wrinkles on the cheeks and around the eyes. In such wrinkles, fillers can be used to plump up the grooves from beneath. Fat transfer, whereby your own fat is removed from one area (such as the Vaser technique) and then injected into the area where fullness is desired, is an excellent alternative to fillers from outside sources, and is one of the more permanent wrinkle treatments.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are substances that are introduced just below the surface of the skin to replace lost volume and/or structure, thereby filling lines, wrinkles and folds from within. Dermal fillers can restore a smoothen appearance.

There are mainly 2 types of fillers that physicians used to rejuvenate the face.

  • Fully resorbable fillers that last for 6 - 9 months, and
  • Semi-permanent fillers that has sustained results for 3-5 years.

Facial Rejuvenation - Removing fine lines and wrinkles

By adding volume, fillers can smoothen out folds and wrinkles and this can make an enormous difference to your appearance.

Dermal fillers are natural 'volumizer' that fills under the wrinkle, which is then lifted up and smoothed out. The results are immediate.
